Inspired by the terroir‘s soul
With the EOLIS wines, we invite you on a sensorial journey into the South East of Bulgaria. The EOLIS Family Vineyard is located near the village of Malko Gradishte in the Lyubimets region, in the outskirts of the Eastern Rhodope mountains.
25 years ago, our hearts had been captivated by the wild beauty of the those picturesque landscapes and our minds are still inspired by its unique terroir.
Eolis is an ambitious adventure with Bulgarian-Swiss roots and a long family tradition in winegrowing. Established in 2005, now we grow 8 ha of international and more recently planted indigenous varieties.
We are blessed with deep clay-sandy soil that brings smoothness and complexity to the wines. The region is one of the sunniest in Bulgaria. However, the daily summer heat is attenuated by the refreshing caress of the Rhodope mountains’ breeze in the evening. The wide temperature amplitude ensures perfect conditions for a slow and optimal grape ripening.
wines made only with organic grapes
Aware of our natural legacy, we have adopted an organic and biodynamic agricultural approach in the vineyard.
Our commitment extends beyond cultivating pure and tasty grapes; it also involves preserving the delicate balance of the soil and working sustainably in harmony with nature.
As winegrowers, we firmly believe that it is our duty to respect and preserve our surrounding environment. That’s why we are committed to minimizing our ecological footprint, preserving local biodiversity, and promoting earth-friendly farming practices — those within our reach.
By working with consciousness and dedication, we aim to contribute to a better world for future generations, taking everyday actions on our own scale.

The Eolis annual production is currently less than 10,000 bottles, a testament to our commitment to quality over quantity. With our winemaking expertise, we strive to capture the essence of our terroir, crafting elegant and nuanced artisanal wines.
For several years Eolis has been recognized by bulgarian wine lovers and by the most prestigious international wine competitions in Europe. Yet, the greatest reward for us lies in the emotional connection forged through sharing the timeless history of Bulgarian terroir in each sip of our wines.
For those adventurous wine lovers seeking to discover the hidden gems of the old wine world, we invite you on a journey with us, exploring a region rich in history and culture.
